Professional Training/Sessions/Workshops

Diane Kue provides research-based professional training and/or coaching consultations with a focus on pedagogy before strategy to foster reasoning and problem-solving.

Diane presents to schools, districts, and speaks at conferences. Organizations she has presented for include: Texas ESCs, TexTESOL, CAMT, and NCTM.

Educators in her trainings/workshops will:
  • Identify the relationship between calculating and conceptualizing
  • Explore the foundation for problem-solving and its application for success beyond the classroom
  • Investigate the impact of math literacy
  • Engage with student-led task examples that promote numeracy, reasoning, and math literacy
